Architect ⎸ Ferndale MI

This project was a collaboration with Silveri Architects.  The original plan and overall massing were executed by Marco Silveri and then handed off to Crossings for construction.

During the construction process, we worked with the client to give the project its distinctly modern flavor by replacing it’s hip roof design with a flat roof and exploring the exterior finishes.  Through the wonderful world of the internet I tracked down the stainless steel shingles and paired them with a South American wood called Ipe.  Both the shingles and the Ipe will require little to no maintenance for the life of the house.
