Architect ⎸ Ferndale MI

The existing kitchen in this 80′s contemporary home was in desperate need of an upgrade.  The existing kitchen was removed in its entirety and the space was opened up to the existing, adjacent dining room.

The kitchen cabinets are completely custom and built and installed by Mark Wilson. Mark and I collaborated on the design and detailing of the cabinetry. Most people assume that custom cabinets are prohibitively expensive but in fact are very competitive with high end mass produced cabinets.  We worked diligently with Mark’s finisher to create a custom stain color that works beautifully with the existing materials in the house.
